About Dr. Serenity Rose:
Dr. Serenity Rose (she/her/ella) is an early career veterinarian committed to the well-being of both her patients and their families. With a vested interest in exotic medicine, a wide range of experience in small animal medicine, and a dedication to community outreach, Dr. Rose brings a fresh perspective to her practice.
Education and Professional Background:
Dr. Rose earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2026 after completing her clinical year at Kansas State University. During her time at Ross, Dr. Rose served as president of the One Health Club, vice president of the Ross Branch of PrideSVMC, and member of the Sea Turtle Monitoring Network.
Memberships and Affiliations:
As part of her commitment to providing high quality care for exotic companion animals, Dr, Rose maintains membership in the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians (AEMV), the Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV), and the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV). She also maintains membership in the Pride Veterinary Medical Community (PrideVMC), whose mission is to create a better world for the LGBTQ+ veterinary community.
Clinical Focus and Approach:
From dogs and cats, to hamsters and fish, Dr. Rose is passionate about caring for the whole household, as every animal is deserving of high quality, compassionate veterinary care. She believes strongly in the importance of the human-animal bond, and seeks opportunities to strengthen it through client education, patient advocacy, and the easement of suffering.
Following the principles of the One Health approach, she recognizes the inseparable nature of human, animal, and environmental health.
Hobbies and Interests:
Besides relaxing with her family and adventuring with her dog, Dr. Rose spends her free time drawing, trying new recipes, and attending concerts. With deep roots in the Tri-Cities, Dr. Rose is looking forward to reconnecting with the community that raised her and learning how to best serve them. She is fluent in English and has basic proficiency in Spanish.
