Position: Associate Veterinarian (DVM)
Location: Horse Heaven Hills Pet Urgent Care and Veterinary Center (H3PUC), Kennewick, WA
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000 - $100,000 base salary or commission—whichever is higher (hybrid production/salary model)
Expected Hours: Minimum of 32 hours per week with flexible scheduling

We're currently seeking a dedicated, experienced DVM to join our vibrant and fast-paced team. Whether it’s urgent care, general practice, or dental procedures with our CT machine—we want someone ready to dive in, lead with kindness, and keep pushing for clinical excellence.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform comprehensive physical exams and collect thorough patient histories

  • Develop and interpret diagnostic plans, then confidently recommend treatments

  • Perform surgeries and dental procedures with a focus on skill, safety, and patient comfort

  • Maintain accurate, detailed medical records using Shepherd

  • Communicate clearly with pet owners about diagnoses, prognoses, and care plans

  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and follow-up care with confidence

  • Collaborate with our team of skilled LVTs, assistants, and CSRs

  • Support and lead your team with professionalism, warmth, and clarity

  • Engage in CE opportunities, case discussions, and team meetings

  • Educate clients on preventive care and home care instructions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited college

  • Valid Washington State Veterinary License in good standing

  • A desire to grow, lead, and provide gold-standard medicine

  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate heart

  • A team player who thrives in a supportive and collaborative environment

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including some evenings or weekends

  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs and perform physically active tasks throughout the day
